To ensure that each piece of poetry is read, studied, and rated on an
individual basis, WWIFF has instituted a system where entries do not compete
against each other but are recognized for their merits.
They compete against themselves: each entry
is judged on individual merits and scored on an inherent value system.
The judges focus on your poetry writing when it is your turn to be evaluated, but not on all the other poems in the queue; this ensures they
will not make comparisons when they should focus entirely on you.
